BASEBALL BIO > Zac comes into the spring season as versatile player and is looking to help his team win championships. Zac has played 3b and catcher but is also learning to play 1b. He aims to learn the 1b position as he grows throughout the season, he wants to help his team get plenty of outs and turn double plays.
Zac loves hitting the ball and has a goal of hitting a home run over the fence and becoming a better baseball player. Zac is a positive player and he likes to encourage his teammates when they struggle. He uses his energy to motivate players always encouraging them to move onto the next play and gain a fresh start. Some of his teammates even like to call him a hugger, he says.
Zac likes being a Texas Dawg because of the great community he is surrounded with. He enjoys going to each practice knowing he will be coached better every time with the ability to learn something new. Zac has seen vast improvements in just a short time he has been on the Dawgs.
Zac’s favorite moment on the field was playing catcher on a pop-up where he threw off his mask, stared into the sun, tripped to the ground, fell backwards and was still able to record the pop-out.

LIFE BIO > Zac is from Katy, TX. He likes the Houston Astros and his favorite player is Alex Bregman. Zac also plays football and roots for the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Atlanta Falcons. His favorite football players are Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Amari Cooper. When Zac isn’t playing baseball or football you can find him enjoying activities like playing his XBOX, hanging out with friends or reading.
Zac’s role model is his dad because he has taught him through hard work anything can be accomplished. In fact, his favorite moment off the baseball field was competing with his dad in a Spartan Race. Zac has 3 siblings, Maverick, Ally and Tyler.
Zac’s favorite TV show is Death by Magic and he enjoys watching any MLB, NFL or college football game. When listening to music he likes Blink 182, Kenny Chesney or anything else on his dad’s playlist.
Zac’s favorite meal is beef or steak fajitas and twice baked potatoes with a St. Arnold’s Root Beer. When he has a chance to vacation he enjoys going to Dallas to visit his Mama and doing lots of fun things there. His favorite school subject is science. Something most people don’t know about Zac is he has a fascination with reptiles. He would love to either have a snake or a bearded dragon but his parents said he needs to be grown up living somewhere else for that to happen.
Zac is no stranger to hard work. His favorite sayings are “What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger” and “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” With that mindset Zac, you can only get stronger and better on the baseball field!
