He is off to a great start having already been named Captain for the 12U Dawgs for his strong leadership abilities. Mason works hard and leads by example, is positive towards others and will also be vocal on the field and in the dugout to get kids going in the right direction. Mason is very respectful and is always willing to learn and work better at his craft.
On the field, he aims to become a better player and wants to throw more runners out on the basepaths from his favorite position at catcher. When Mason was younger one of his favorite plays was standing in shallow outfield and tracking down a deep ball to make the tough catch. Mason is poised for bigger and better things as he believes the Dawgs organization is helping him become a better player.

LIFE BIO > Mason is as committed as it gets considering he is from El Campo and travels to practice for the Dawgs. Mason is a big Astros fan, but also enjoys watching his favorite player, Mike Trout. With Mason being a catcher he really looks up to Yadier Molina. Other sports teams Mason roots for are the Atlanta Falcons and the San Franciso 49ers. He really likes football and roots for Julio Jones, Raheem Mostert and Deandre Hopkins. When Mason isn’t on the baseball field he really enjoys playing golf and football.
Mason enjoys listening to country music and his favorite movies are the Fast and Furious series. When Mason can get away from his home he really enjoys visiting Concan, TX. Mason loves to eat tacos and drink Gatorade. Something most people don’t know is that his middle name, Lyle, has been passed down 3 generations.
Mason has 2 sisters Makenzie and Madisyn and also has 2 dogs in Bree and Bella. One of Mason’s most exciting moments off the field was visiting the “NFL Experience” in Atlanta with his godparents and grandparents where he got to meet tons of NFL players. With Mason being a hard working leader, you’ll hear him hollering “Let’s Gooooooooooooooo!” in order to get the momentum going.
