Bitsy Springer
ORGANIZATION Texas Dawgs
TEAM 1U
PLAYER # 99
POSITION SS/P
NICKNAME The G.O.A.T, The Great Bambitso
FROM Hamilton, TX
BASEBALL BIO > Bitsy Springer is named after the greatest World Series MVP of all time. Yep, you guessed it, Astros legend George Springer! Bitsy prides her game on a similar approach to George, a good mix of speed and power going against the style of a typical leadoff hitter. Bitsy once went 8 for 8 in a game, resulting in the Texas media dubbing her "The Great Bambitso".
Don't let her oddly shaped body fool you, she can prance like no other and smash doubles for days #Doubles4Dayz. She's the life of the party and keeps things fresh in the dugout. She's 110% focused at all times until 60% of the time when she starts eating shrubs and flowers around the ballpark. When you have Bitsy on your roster you must only play in metal bat tournaments because she tried a wooden bat tournament and ate all of the bats, resulting in a forfeit for her 1U squad.
Bitsy is excited about the bright future of the Dawgs and is thrilled about the 2020 Spring season. Bitsy aims to be more vocal in the dugout and on the field. She is quiet but wants to really communicate well and take this team to the next level. Hold on everyone, Bitsy is interrupting me and wants to add more to her bio "BawW bahWWWww baWww BAAWWWWWWWW!!!!", which translates to something along the lines of her still being ticked off she did not get a single vote for The Texas Dawgs Mascot Challenge. She tells me that this aggression will be turned into positive mojo on the baseball field. Opponents beware, Bitsy is comin'!

LIFE BIO > Bitsy Springer has a sister named Bella Hops who is more into fashion and getting attention than sports. Something you may not know about Bitsy is that she is a......... goat! Big surprise, she is pretty incognito with that slick Texas Dawgs hat that any fan can find here. Being a Nigerian Dwarf Pygmy goat she is primed for the goat yoga circuit. However, she has turned down all offers as baseball is her main passion.
When Bitsy isn't playing baseball she is thinking about baseball. She is cranking out the film to see where she can get better with her fielding, pitching and hitting technique. Hobbies for Bitsy include a lot of lounging and grazing. Her favorite baseball team is the Hartford Yard Goats and her favorite baseball player is George Springer. Bitsy isn't in school yet since she hasn't turned 1, but she knows how to play baseball. Talent is talent they say!
When Bitsy has time to vacation she really enjoys somewhere in the Caribbean where there are plenty of trees and sunshine. She enjoys her water out of a coconut with an umbrella straw while listening to yacht rock and smooth jazz. Don't be a blender, be a Bitsy and "go hard or go home".
