The Texas Dawgs March Madness fundraiser is now active!!

We have established this pool in order to (i) raise funds for our teams to help off-set World Series and team costs; and (ii) have some fun with March Madness. The cost for entry is $12 for 1 bracket or $30 for 3. You can enter as many brackets as you want and we encourage you to do so. We will treat this pool similar to our Super Bowl square pools with winnings split between the team, the pool winners and administrative costs.

Exact pay-outs will be determined base on the number of brackets submitted. We will award winnings to the top 3 finishers and have a special prize for the person who finishes with the least points in the bracket!

A Brief Reminder: Get your bracket(s) in before the pick deadline, which is Thursday, March 19th at 11:15 (CST) and make sure to review the pool settings. Only the main 64 teams that make up a standard bracket are included (i.e. the play-in games, or 'first four', are NOT included).  Good luck to everyone. The first fundraiser of 2021 will be a square pool for the NCAA National Semifinal Rose Bowl Game. This is the same site we used last year and had great success with the NCAA National Championship Game and the Superbowl. 

This year, we decided to add in one of the NCAA College Football Playoff Semifinal games to mitigate the possibility that we can not run a March Madness pool (like we lost out on last year).

Welcome to The Texas Dawgs March Madness Fundraiser:

We have established this pool in order to (i) raise funds for our 11U and 12U teams to help off-set World Series costs for our trip to Louisville Kentucky this summer; and (ii) have some fun with March Madness.  The cost for entry is $12 for 1 bracket or $30 for 3.  You can enter as many brackets as you want, however, and we encourage you to do so.  

We will treat this pool similar to our Super Bowl square pools with winnings split between the team, the pool winners and administrative costs. Exact pay-out will not be known once we have a final number but if we gain 1,000 entries, which is our target that will raise approximately ($10,000-$11,000) and after about a 7% overhead we would pay out the winnings 70% to the Dawgs and 30% to the winner.  Under this scenario , the winner would win $1,500, second place $750, third place $500 and the lowest score will win $50.

After the success of the National Championship squares, it's time to launch our Super Bowl edition fundraiser.

We will pay out $800 total in prizes for each completed pool, with winners for each of the first 3 quarters and the game getting $150 for hitting the score and $50 for the winner of the backwards score each quarter (rules explained on the site). The remaining $1200 less fees for the web-site will go towards Dawgs for game related equipment costs and starting the funding for each World Series. As with the NCAA pools, we would love to get multiple pools completed if possible, but want to finish at least one.  This will be our last fundraiser, until March Madness.

We know a number of you had family and friends locked out after the two NCAA pools filled, please let them know, they have another chance.
